AL-ANON / Alteen

Al-Anon/Alteen is a "fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics or addicts who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems." They practice the 12 steps and provide a loving, understanding environment that helps in understanding the addicted person in our lives (al-anon.alateenorg).

Alateen is a part of Al-Anon and is specifically for young people affected by another's drinking or addiction, generally ages 13-19.
